We never miss a chance to stop at Crater Lake (more info on what to do while there linked here) when we’re near it on the way to see Doug’s family. Calm before the storm is not quite right. Crater Lake is calm and serene, but time with Doug’s family isn’t stormy. They’re a joyful, witty bunch that makes you want to bring your A game!
