There’s something magical about combining the comforts of an RV with the freedom of a bicycle – especially when you’re able to explore Peninsula State Park, Door County‘s 3,776-acre playground that juts into Green Bay.
This park boasts over 20 miles of bike trails ranging from “my grandma could do this” to “I’m beginning to question my life choices”.
On an easy and popular route, Eagle Bluff Lighthouse is a popular stop. Built in 1868, this picturesque lighthouse offers tours and great views.

The newly rebuilt 60-foot Eagle Tower observation deck offers panoramic views of the park and surrounding islands. It’s also another way to get in your stairs quota for the day!

Spandex bike shorts are not meant to double as swimwear but if its warm enough you might dip your toes into Nicolet Bay or at least take in the view from the beach.

After a decent day the saddle, its always nice to return to the RV, crack open a local craft beer, and review the day’s pictures which tell you exactly why people have been coming back to Peninsula State Park generation after generation.
