North of Butte and northwest of Helena lies Lincoln MT and Blackfoot Pathways – Sculpture in the Wind. This is a free (but donations appreciated) outdoor sculpture garden containing both temporary and permanent large scale sculptures from artists in the Blackfoot Valley.
These large scale sculptures were really interesting as were the artists’ descriptions. The short walking path between the installations is flat and many installations can be walked through, making it a very interactive experience.
