Wonder Where In 2024?

We’ve recently hit our 4 year RV anniversary, which is hard to believe given that we started out thinking it would be a 1-2 year travel sabbatical.

In that time we’ve been able to see 39 states, eastern Canada’s Quebec Province, the Canadian Maritimes, and the western Canada Provinces of Alberta and British Columbia.  We’ve also been to Hawaii twice (not in the RV of course) but we’ve flown there in the last 4 years.

This leaves us with  9 states to visit in the lower 48 and they’re all located in the upper mid-west:

  1. Michigan
  2. Ohio
  3. Indiana
  4. Wisconsin
  5. Illinois,
  6. Minnesota
  7. Iowa
  8. Nebraska and
  9. North Dakota

We also haven’t driven to Alaska so this is the year.  Below are the Canadian Provinces and the United States we have visited.

We’ll spend summer in Alaska, skirt across a couple of more Canadian Provinces and then complete the 9 upper mid-western states in the fall.

We crossed into Canada on May 24th and are headed for Alaska now.  Here’s an overview of our Alaska plan and a link to a google map with some things we’re hoping to see and do.

I haven’t created the upper mid-west overview yet but we started to identify places of interest and rough (but as yet unagreed to plan) in this linked google map.
